On Tenerife, the company has a processing factory and silos where it prepares and stores all the products, labelled with their own brands and devoted to each one of the stages of development of the animals (breeding, growth, finishing or adult). Graneros de Tenerife produces, stores and distributes food for the following livestock and pet-related activities:
- Poultry for laying and fattening
- Pigs
- Dairy and meat cows
- Sheep
- Goats
- Rabbits
- Pigeons
- Pets (dogs, cats, …)
Once prepared under strict quality controls, the animal foods are presented to the customer in different formats: flour, granules, crumble and natural grain (cereals and mixtures of whole cereals) to cover the entire spectrum of demand from agricultural professionals. On many occasions, it is the livestock professionals themselves or their vets who collaborate with the technical staff of Graneros de Tenerife requesting specific feed formulations for their animals, with made-to-measure feeds often being created. The total production of the factory is 65,000 metric tons a year in compound feeds (all made by ourselves), with a total movement of 80,000 tons a year, which is the current volume of the Company’s cereal sales, although the number is in constant growth.
